THE MUSICAL BOND BETWEEN FLORENCE AND DRESDEN
Francesco Cilea, a contemporary of the great Tuscan musician Giacomo Puccini, was born on 23rd July, 1866, in Palmi, in Calabria.
RAPHAEL’S FLORENCE
Raphael is one of the elements tying Florence to Dresden, twinned cities that have always been united by art, culture and great masters. It is also for this reason that, this coming 19th April, in the Auditorium Al Duomo congress centre, in Via de’Cerretani, the city of Saxony has chosen Florence to host the special event celebrating the 500 years of the Madonna Sistina.
